Brief Overview

Sebastián Illanes is a versatile artist, testing differtent styles in his paintings, in some cases purely abstract, in other cases geometric abstract (or a mix), and sometimes with some figurative/organic reminiscences. He studied Arts in the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile (1998), Santiago. He remarks that he had a great influence and learning from his teacher Eduardo Vilches (National art prize in 2019), in particular regarding to the "Color" subject.
