Brief Overview

Loreto Naranjo is a Chilean visual artist whose self-taught training was enriched from an early age by the guidance of the renowned painter Carlos Corvalán Gajardo. She began her painting journey at the age of 15 and, since then, has cultivated a coherent and solid body of work, standing out for her mastery of Impressionist and figurative techniques. She has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, as well as national competitions, winning first prizes and recognition for the quality and authenticity of her work.

She currently lives and works in the city of Puerto Montt, where she founded and has been directing Studio Naranjo for over 15 years, a space dedicated to artistic creation, training, and dissemination. This art workshop brings together more than 30 active students, including adults, teenagers, and children, and has become a regional leader in teaching oil painting, watercolor, and other techniques. Loreto Naranjo continues to develop her work with a strong commitment to artistic training and the promotion of cultural spaces in southern Chile, maintaining an active presence in the Chilean contemporary art circuit.
