Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to your questions about our online Art Gallery.
What kind of artwork does the Gallery sell?
All our paintings are unique pieces, and our prints are limited editions. We will be adding other types of artwork, such as sculptures and/or photography, in the future, always ensuring that they are unique, exclusive, or limited edition pieces. All our artworks will be accompanied by certificates of authenticity signed by the artist and the gallery.
How can I make a purchase?
You can make a purchase through our online store, which accepts various payment methods, such as PayPal and credit cards. Once you've selected a piece of art, add it to your shopping cart, and then any additional charges, such as shipping costs or sales tax (if applicable), will be displayed. After your purchase, we'll take care of getting the artwork to you.
How long the delivery time takes?
For domestic shipments (within mainland Chile), the typical delivery time can range from 5 to 10 business days, and for shipments to the USA (or other future destinations), it can range from 10 to 18 business days.
Delivery time will vary depending on the artwork's destination. This time includes the time needed to collect, pack, and register the artwork for export (for shipments outside of Chile, registration must be completed at the National Museum of Fine Arts of Chile). This first period can range from 3 to 7 business days. Then, the time for transport and customs processing (if applicable for exporting and importing) must be added. This final period can range from 3 to 11 business days. Our Gallery will do its best efforts to fulfill these time periods, however, we will not be responsible in case third parties affect this delivery time (i.e. customs office or other)
Do you have a return policy?
Yes, we accept returns within the first 14 days after receiving the artwork. To initiate a return, the buyer must notify us in writing (via email) within this timeframe; otherwise, returns will not be accepted. If a return is made, the buyer is responsible for shipping the artwork back to Chile and will also bear the associated shipping costs (and customs duties and brokerage fees if it is applicable). Once the artwork is received in the same condition in which it was sent, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued to the buyer.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship domestically (Chile) and internationally to the USA only. We will later add other countries such as Canada, Mexico, the UK, and countries in the European Union.
Is it possible that the artwork may no longer be available at the time of purchase?
In general, our artworks are unique and exclusive pieces (except for limited editions), and although we maintain constant communication with our artists, there is a (low) probability that at the time of purchase the artwork may no longer be available, in which case we will contact the buyer and make a full refund of the payment for the artwork.
What happens if the artwork is damaged or lost in transit?
The Gallery will issue a full refund of the price paid for the artwork once the incident (damage or loss of the artwork during transit) has been verified and the following conditions are met:
If the artwork has suffered any damage in transit, the buyer must immediately notify the Gallery in writing (via email), attaching the necessary evidence, which must include good quality photographs of the damage upon receipt and unpacking of the artwork, and any other useful information (for example: confirmation of the damage to the artwork or packaging by the transport company). Once the Gallery has verified the incident, the price paid by the buyer will be refunded. However, to activate this guarantee, the buyer's notification (along with the minimum necessary evidence) must be made within a maximum of 48 hours after receiving the artwork.
On the other hand, if the buyer has not received the artwork more than 15 days after the estimated delivery date at the time of purchase, the buyer must promptly notify the Gallery in writing (via email). The Gallery will then contact the shipping company. If the loss is confirmed by both the Gallery and the shipping company, a full refund of the purchase price will be issued.
What is the currency for purchase?
All our prices are listed in US dollars. However, since we offer multiple payment methods, your purchase will be charged in US dollars, and depending on your chosen payment method, you may be able to pay in your local currency. For buyers in Chile, we also accept bank transfers in Chilean pesos, but you will need to contact us to arrange this.
How much are the shipping costs?
The shipping costs are charged separately at the end of the purchase process, and it is different depending on destination and size of the artwork. However in the case of domestic shipping (continental Chilean territory) it will be free of charge.
For international shippings (USA for now), the asociated costs of the Customs Office and Customs Broker (USA and Chile if it is applicable) will be paid by the customer, however, these costs are expected for artworks valued above USD 2,500. Anyway, this will be informed to the customer and the expenses effectively paid will be charged to the customer. This typically can be in the range of 200 to 400 USD (per country).
